Strangely enough no, I don't. I have lost contact with most of my childhood friends and don't miss them at all.
There was a guy I liked when we were both in the territorial army. We were *very* close and understood each other perfectly. But he got killed in a motorbike accident, three or four years after we returned to civil life. I do think of him occasionally with a pang of nostalgia and sadness.
