Strangely enough no, I don't. I have lost contact with most of my childhood friends and don't miss them at all.

There was a guy I liked when we were both in the territorial army. We were *very* close and understood each other perfectly. But he got killed in a motorbike accident, three or four years after we returned to civil life. I do think of him occasionally with a pang of nostalgia and sadness.

Like a mercy killing almost? If a prisoner is really unhappy in prison and unable to escape in any other way, he can always take his own life. The death penalty in this context could be abused.

Quand on était gamin, on allait souvent passer les vacances d'été chez mon oncle, qui avait une ferme en Seine-et-Marne et c'était d'autant plus cool parce qu'il avait des animaux :) Il avait aussi toute une collection de livres sur pleins de mythes du monde entier, que j'adorais lire ou relire.
